Traditional parenting in Pakistan is passed down from previous generations and is based on cultural norms and ancestral practices. Such methods may have been effective in the past, but the modern world is changing rapidly, and there is a need for a new approach-one that suits the personality of a child and the problems of the current environment.

For instance, a child who is introverted would automatically withdraw from social engagements or have minimal speech. Instead of giving the child such labels as introverted or socially disabled, one has to understand and appreciate the predisposition. Trying to force a child to emulate others in society can make the child feel inadequate, stressed, and disinterested. A tailored parenting approach will enable parents to support the natural tendencies of the child while also encouraging slow progression in areas of development.
